RG142 cable is coaxial cable commonly used in telecommunications applications, such as radio systems, medical equipment, avionics, and two-way communications systems. RG142 cable is rated to 1900 volts and 200°C max. Beyond high voltage and temperature ratings, advantages include solder and solvent resistance. RG142 coaxial cable meets mil-spec M17/60-RG142.

It has a silver-coated copper-clad-steel conductor, PTFE dielectric, and an FEP jacket. RG142 cable also features a silver-coated copper double braid shield to protect from signal interference and ensure high quality signal transmission.
